Easy French Toast Latte Recipe

This French Toast Latte has a delicious cinnamon flavor that is hard to resist. It’s the stuff that morning fantasies are made of, if breakfast fantasies were converted into a drink. It’s served with handmade French Toast Syrup, maple syrup, and a shot of espresso, and it’s topped with whipped cream and cinnamon brown sugar.

The roots of French toast may be traced back to the Roman Empire, when they were known as Pan Dulcis (sweet bread). This contained all of the typical features of French toast that we are familiar with, including soaking the bread in milk and egg combination before frying it in oil or butter.

While our adoration for this has grown throughout the decades, it has now established itself as a standard breakfast dish. It was only lately that somebody thought, why not make a drinkable version of it?

My contribution is a twist on the standard latte that is wonderful for pairing with the French toast in and of itself.

What’s in a Latte With French Toast?

A simple syrup created with brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla paste, plant-based milk, maple syrup, and a shot of espresso is used to make a French Toast latte that tastes like French Toast. If you want to go all out, top with whipped vanilla cream and cinnamon-infused brown sugar.

To Make a French Toast Latte, You’ll Need the Following Ingredients

The latte is quite easy to prepare at home, particularly if you have readymade syrup on hand.

Ingredients

  • You’ll only need a few items to make this vegan French Toast latte recipe:
  • The scents of vanilla extract, brown sugar, and cinnamon are all present in this French Toast Syrup. This recipe may be found here, along with instructions on how to prepare it.
  • Oat Milk – preferable barista form, since it is designed to withstand heat and prevent milk from separating. Unsweetened brands are what I use.
  • shot of espresso
  • The syrup made from maple trees.
  • Optional: Top with cinnamon brown sugar or pre-whipped cream.
  • Substitutions

You might make the following substitutions:

Premade syrup may be substituted for homemade French toast syrup. A teaspoon of vanilla and cinnamon syrup might be substituted.
Any plant-based milk will suffice. When it comes to coffee recipes, I usually advocate utilizing a barista version since it’s designed to handle steamed milk temperatures.
Use your favorite sweetener instead of maple syrup.
Tools To create the latte, you’ll need the following ingredients and equipment.

a little saucepan or pot
Tablespoon.
Whisk.
Moka Pot, Aeropress, Nespresso Machine, or anything else that can brew espresso.
Glass with a capacity of 12 oz. (330 mL).

  4. Maple-syrup-toasted nuts
  5. Serve a savory variation of french toast to go the Australian approach.
